Jill Haley Rose, owner/operator of Paws of Nature, is a certified Canine Behavior Consultant and Trainer. She is Western Massachusetts' only graduate from the world renowned Academy for Dog Trainers at the San Francisco SPCA, where she received a Certification in Dog Training and Behavioral Counseling. She also completed a post graduate internship with the Behavior and Training Dept. of the SF SPCA where she focused her studies and work on canine fear and aggression. After completing the program, she received a Certificate in Dog Aggression with Honors. She is a member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers and has fulfilled their requirements and testing to become an APDT Certified Pet Dog Trainer.
Jill has spent over 25 years working with shelter and rescue dogs. She has helped manage and run animal shelters outside of St. Louis, Missouri and has worked as a Veterinary Assistant there as well. She later worked as an Assistant Trainer for Canine Culture Dog Training in Oakland, CA as well as assisting trainers at the San Francisco SPCA with behavioral evaluations, training, and teaching public dog training classes. She is now the owner/operator of Paws of Nature Training and Behavior Consults, serving areas throughout Western Massachusetts.
